Creative Workshops

• Welcome to the Clay Club’s taster workshops—a hands-on experience on the pottery wheel or handbuilding and sculpture.
• Or if you want to design and decorate on one of of exclusive pieces of stoneware bisque thats also possible

Take one or both to discover which pottery approach you prefer.

Throwing

A 2,5 hour full immersion event, be prepared to get dirty!

We will demonstrate and guide you to making 2 vessels.

When they are dry we will trim and fire for you with the glaze of your choice.

Handbuilding

This is a slower more meditative process of 3 hours. Where we teach you techniques that can even be continued at home.

You can make 2 pieces and after a short break for them to harden the fun of decorating starts.

You can carve or stamp patterns and then paint your pieces with beautiful coloured glazes. 

Paint a Pot

We have imported an exclusive line of beautiful high fired tableware that can be painted with our full collection of Mayco Stroke and Coats or their Brushable Cone 6 glazes.

A decorating session lasts 2 hours and the 25 euros fee includes a piece of bisque, instructions, tools, glazes, refreshments and firing.

Pick up

Remember to write your initials on the bottom and please take a picture to help you identify it at pick up.

In 2-3 weeks they will be fired and ready and waiting for you
