Empty Bowls is a grassroots movement by artists and crafts people in cities and towns around the world to raise money for food related charities to care for and feed the hungry in their communities. https://emptybowls.com/

Empty Bowls supports food-related charitable organizations around the world, and has raised millions of dollars to help end hunger.

The Ceramic Centre is pleased to host an Empty Bowls event to support Fawco’s target project, Awesome Blossoms a safe space project in Nairobi, Kenya. AWCA member Diane Barghouthy and Rhonda Tracey (owner of The Ceramic Centre)  will be leading this project.

To prepare for the fundraising event, we will be hosting several  bowl making nights at The Ceramic Centre. If you are a potter and would like to join please contact us at info@theceramiccentre.com. The studio will donate all materials you donate your time and skill.

All bowls will be finished and fired to be sold at the ‘Empty Bowls’  fundraising dinner in the Autumn. The proceeds from the event will go towards FAWCO’s target project ‘Awesome Blossoms’.

If you would like to participate in this project please drop in to the studio or contact us on info@theceramiccentre.com
